SAN SEBASTIAN, SPAIN.- The family of Eduardo Chillida is now hopeless as the health of the artist has become worse. The Basque sculptor has been in intensive care since last Wednesday in a San Sebastian hospital. Luis Chillida, one of the eight sons of the sculptor stated that he was sad to say that his father's health was not improving. He stated, "Yesterday we had a day where my father's health appeared to improve and that gave us all a lot of force and hope, but today he is worst, as he was the day before yesterday." He further explained that the doctors gave them bad news about the tests on his father. "This morning was still  awake and looking good, but as the hours passed he got worse," he stated.
