Strut Your Junk at Runaway Runway: Columbia Design League Call for Entries



COLUMBIA, SC.- The Columbia Design League, a Columbia Museum of Art membership affiliate group, has extended the “Call for Entries” for its second annual Runaway Runway: A Recycled Fashion Show. Entries are open to everyone until April 9. There is no fee to enter, but a limited number of entries will be accepted.

Garments must be made from recycled or reused materials, and entrants are required to attend a dress rehearsal on Sunday, April 19 at 1:00 p.m. at 701 Whaley Street. Raid your trash bins, recycling containers and closets, and come strut your junk!

Runaway Runway: a Recycled Fashion Show has been moved to 701 Whaley Street to accommodate the space requirements for the runway and seating and takes place on Friday, April 24. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for cash bar and refreshments, and the fashion show beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $20 for seated admission and go on sale to Design League members Monday, March 23 and to the public Monday, April 6 by visiting www.columbiamuseum.org. Design League membership is $15 per adult or $25 per couple in addition to Columbia Museum of Art membership.
