ST. LOUIS, MO.- The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis announced its participation in the Bank of America Museums on Us® program, which provides Bank of America cardholders free general admission to more than 120 of the nation’s finest arts, cultural, and educational institutions during the first full weekend of every month.

To qualify for the Museums on Us program, Bank of America customers simply present their ATM, credit or check card and a valid photo ID to gain free general admission* to any participating institution.

“The Museums on Us® program is wonderful on so many levels,” said Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis Director Paul Ha. “We are happy to partner with Bank of America on this program to reach a much larger population and welcome them to see contemporary art.”

The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis promotes meaningful engagement with the most relevant and innovative art being made today. The museum presents an annual series of exhibitions featuring visual art by contemporary artists and showcases a variety of artistic styles and media being created by local, national, and international artists. Currently, the Contemporary is exhibiting Chantal Akerman: Moving Through Time and Space and Carey Young: Speech Acts in the Main Galleries.

Visitors can view the Contemporary’s website, www.camstl.org for further information on these shows, our upcoming exhibitions, as well as for information on The Front Room, a space for quick and nimble exhibitions.

The Museums on Us® program, now in its 12th season, has experienced major growth since the 2008 season due to increased demand, adding more than 40 institutions including the Contemporary to bring the total geographic reach to 40 markets.

“We are proud to partner with the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis,” said Rena M. DeSisto, Arts and Culture Executive, Bank of America. “Bank of America is committed to strengthening artistic institutions in the communities we serve across the country, and Museums on Us® provides a free cultural resource at a time when it’s needed most. The program benefits our museum partners and our communities by providing access to the arts and creating new opportunities to attract visitors.”
