LONDON.- The Museum of London has appointed Antony Robbins as its Head of Communications.

Robbins joins the Museum from the Overseas Development Institute, Britain’s leading think-tank on international development. He has previously led communications at the UK government’s Department of International Development and aid agency CARE International.

He arrives at the Museum as it prepares to launch its £20million Galleries of Modern London and the new Clore Learning Centre, which will tell the story of London from 1666 to the present day. This will see the dramatic transformation of the Museum into a world-class destination, using the very latest in innovation and technology to tell the story of the greatest city in the world and its people

Robbins says; “This is a brilliant time to join the Museum of London at a time of change and opportunity as it undergoes its biggest transformation since opening in 1976. My background in international development prepares me well for this role: the Museum has a truly global perspective, telling the inspiring story of successive generations of Londoners from across the globe”.
