LONDON, ENGLAND.- POWER The International Limb Project will hold an auction of over 100 works to be held in Henley Town Hall, 7pm February 1st 2003. Leading auctioneers, Simmons and Sons will be auctioning over 100 pieces donated by well-known national and local artists and celebrities. Included will be works by Donald Hamilton Fraser, Shirley Felts, Gordon Davey, Shirley Tuckley, Jan Wieliczko and a rare piece by the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Culture, Dr Kim Howells. The Barry Keene Gallery, The Century Gallery and the Whittington Gallery have contributed other pieces. In addition there will be a sale of collage work created during the day by a group of local artists. Further collages created by local schools on the theme of "Empowering the Disempowered" will be on display and available to buy. All the collages will be framed with generous help of Barry Keene and the Bohun Gallery.
