TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA.- The Power Plant presents "Bruce Mau Design: Three Moving Projects, 1991-2002", on view through May 26, 2002. Bruce Mau Design (BMD) was founded in Toronto in 1985 and has since gained international recognition for its innovative, inter-disciplinary work. The studio devises identity programs for a variety of cultural organizations. In recent years, BMD has ventured into the fields of architecture, city planning, and park design. They have also produced a small body of design in moving images; three works are the subject of this exhibition including Zone 6: Incorporations (1991), Stress: An Inventory of Effects, and Tokyo Countdown (2001).
