Artlog Live at the Armory Show Arts Week
Artlog Live is the definitive online guide and map for The Armory Show Arts Week with complete listings of all major events in and around the fairs.

NEW YORK, NY.- Artlog presents Artlog Live during The Armory Show Arts Week in NYC (March 1-7). Artlog uses social media to make sense of The Armory Show Arts Week madness, a week crammed with 10 fairs, nearly 2,000 Artlog gallery participants and dozens of satellite events across greater New York City.

Artlog Live is the definitive online guide and map for The Armory Show Arts Week with complete listings of all major events in and around the fairs. More significantly, Artlog Live leverages Twitter, text messaging and the web to present live updates from fair organizers, galleries, press, artists and collectors.

Launched during Art Basel Miami Beach in December 2009, Artlog Live was a massive success garnering significant press and over 2,000 posts. For Artlog Live at Armory Show Arts Week, Artlog has assembled numerous partnerships with fairs and art organizations to provide coverage across the fairs: The Armory Show, The Art Show, PULSE New York, SCOPE New York, Fountain New York, Verge New York, Volta New York and the Independent. To ensure steady and even coverage, Artlog Live has enlisted a team of ten “bloggers” who will post live updates during the week’s events, lectures and parties as well as broadcast commentary from collectors, gallerists, artists and the general public.

The power of Artlog Live is that it leverages the collective following of each organization, writer and publication that posts. Artlog Live is supported by Artlog.com’s expansive New York cultural online directory platform with nearly 30,000 monthly visitors, 15,000 NYC subscribers, 5,000 Twitter/Facebook followers and 1,700 participating galleries and museums. Spreading the word, Artlog Live will be featured on NBC New York’s weekly Artlog segment during the week of March 1. Join Artlog for the for Artlog Live Kick-off event on Monday, March 1, 2010 from 7-10 PM at Le Poisson Rouge at 158 Bleeker Street to connect with other art writers, bloggers, art insiders, gallerists and art social media folks.
