BASEL.- This summer the Messeplatz, sited directly in front of the buildings hosting the
Art 41 Basel, will once again serve as a stage for art projects in the public space. It features 14 works, by the renowned artists Ai Weiwei, Micol Assaël, Dora Garciá, Eric Hattan, Hanspeter Hofmann, Thomas Houseago, Alicja Kwade, Ernesto Neto, Bettina Pousttchi, Ugo Rondinone, Alberto Tadiello, Oscar Tuazon, Lawrence Weiner and Heimo Zobernig.
The sectors exhibition concept has once again been devised by Basel curator Martin Schwander, and the artworks featured on Messeplatz will be installed site-specifically.
