DETROIT, MICHIGAN.- The Museum of New Art (MONA) will present a photography exhibition in which the museum visitor becomes the art. Beginning with the empty walls of the museum, the show will grow with its audience: throughout the duration of the show photographers will "shoot" everyone who visits the museum. Each photograph will then be enlarged and installed in the museum galleries. In the end, the audience will have become the exhibition. Due to the nature of the show, there will be two receptions: the first will kick-off the photo shoot on Saturday May 11 from 6 to 10pm; and the second, the closing reception, on Saturday June 29 from 6 to 10pm.
To close the exhibition, on Saturday June 29th and Sunday June 30th the photographs may be purchased by their respective models. A few of the photographers are: Angie Baan, Dana Smith, Julie Sando, David Rubello, Barbara Abel, Jennifer Boyak, Kelly Rae Morris, Elaine Redmond, and Angie Baan.
