NEW YORK.- Phillips de Pury & Company announce its inaugural mid-season Design auction, dedicated to early 20th-century Viennese design, totaled $1,243,800, including premium.
The auction comprised 52 works, 66% of which sold, by important designers including Otto Wagner, father of Austrian Modernism, as well as Josef Hoffmann and Koloman Moser, founders of the Wiener Werkstätte, the early 20th-century Viennese design collective.
