BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA.- Today at 7 p.m. will open the new location for the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (MNBA). The new museum will be located in the Monserrat neighborhood. With the opening of the museum two exhibitions open too. One is dedicated to Argentinean contemporary painters (Clorindo Testa, Mildred Burton, Ana Eckell, Justo Solsona, Luis Benedit) and the other is dedicated to fashion and the design of clothes. This new museum location will be specifically dedicated to promote new Argentinean artists. It also wants to become a development area for fashion and clothes design. The museum is located in a building that was constructed in 1904 by architect Alejandro Cristophersen. The building was owned by the first gas company of the city. The building had been donated to the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes six years ago.
