LONDON, ENGLAND.- Artist and teacher Michael Finn, 80, died. He was born in Addlestone, Surrey on July 7, 1921. His father was an architect. He studied at the Kingston upon Thames School of Art and then at the Royal COllege of Art, where he began teaching art. He later began teaching art at the Somerset College of Art in Taunton and in 1958 he became the Principal of the Falmouth College of Art and was there for fourteen years. In 1972 he was appointed Pricipal of Bath Academy of Art at Corsham, Wiltshire. He then pursued his own career in art. He was influenced by Abstract Expressionists such as Mark Rothko.
