BELLEVUE, WASHINGTON.- The Bellevue Art Museum has hired Ginger Gregg Duggan as its new curator and director of programming. Chief curator Brian Wallace resigned in February. In January, Kathleen Harleman, the museum's new director, came into office and ordered staff layouts in February. Duggan comes from the Museum of Art, Fort Lauderdale, where she worked with Harleman. Duggan stated on the Bellevue Museum, "One thing that's definitely going for it is the newness. New building, new director, new vision. Hopefully, it will be a place that people on both sides of the bridge will want to support." Duggan wants to have the exhibition "Fashion: The Greatest Show on Earth," that she curated in Florida at the Bellevue Museum at the end of the year. Duggan further stated, "It's not on fashion, the clothes but on the performance art that has become the runway show."
