HONG KONG.- Poly Auction (Hong Kong) Limited will present the 2013 Spring Auction and Preview taking place from 3rd - 7th 2013, which is a significant millstone subsequent to its debut in Hong Kong and the successful Autumn Auction with remarkable results.
Encompassing over 1,000 lots, the auction features Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Jewels and Watches, Chinese Modern and Contemporary Art, and Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art, with a total estimate of over HK$400,000,000*. A public preview will take place at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong from 3rd - 6th April, while the Spring Auction is to under hammer at Renaissance Harbour View Hotel from 6 - 7 April. Other previews schedule: Beijing (16th - 17th March), Taiwan (23rd - 24th March) and Shenzhen (30th - 31st March).

Poly Auction will offer a number of key achievements of Wu Guanzhong. This collection encompasses Wus important ink and oil paintings on various materials from 1970s to 1990s, including his masterpieces in canvas, color ink and pen sketch. The Royal Romance Ring of floral motif has featured the exclusive and private exhibition 'Out of The Vaults' in London at the Kensington Palace to celebrate the 60th Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.
The precious stones weigh from 0.88 to 1.02 karats (with GIA reports), comprising two pieces of heart-shaped Fancy Intense to Fancy Vivid Purplish pink diamonds (from Argyle pink diamond ore) and two pieces of heart-shaped flawless blue diamonds. Western Australia's Argyle pink diamonds, as the largest single source of pink diamonds, contributes 90% of global pink diamonds since its discovery in 1979 but is predicted to exhauste within 10 years without competent pink diamond ore found till now.
