Rafael Alberti Paintings on Exhibit

CORDOBA, SPAIN.- The Rafael Botí Provincial Visual Arts Foundation presents the exhibition ’Cantata of Line and Color’ with paintings by Rafael Alberti. The exhibition presents 120 works of this famous poet who did his paintings before going into poetry. Alberto Gómez, vice-president of the foundation, stated that the exhibition is presented as a celebration of the centennial of the poet. There will also be a literary seminar from April 24 to April 26. ’It would have been incomplete without the great paintings the poet created,’ stated Gómez. He remembered that Alberti was a painter before becoming a poet. The exhibition was curated by Mariano Navarro and includes oil paintings, drawings, and etchings.
