NEW YORK.- Abstract painter Harvey Quaytman, 64, died. He was born in 1937 in Far Rockaway, New York, N.Y. He studied at the Boston Museum School, Tufts University, Boston, and Syracuse University, New York, N.Y. In 1985 he was awarde the Guggenheim Fellowship. He became a member of the National Academy of Design in 1993.
