LONDON.- Bonhams has announced the appointment of Livie Gallone Moeller as a new member of its team in Switzerland, working with Victoria Rey-de-Rudder as senior valuer with a focus on the Swiss German market.

For the past six years she has worked in the Geneva office of another international auction house, in a business and client development role, having spent some time previously as a member of their valuations team in London.

Ms Gallone Moeller who studied history of art at Ecole De Conde in Lyon, France, speaks four languages, English, French, Italian and German and has a distinguished track record in the art world.

She has experience of the American art market as well having worked for Hirshorn Museum & Sculpture Garden in Washington DC, Achim Moeller Fine Art of New York and Basel as well as ARTHELPS to support local artists and the broader arts community in Washington DC.”

Matthew Girling, Bonhams CEO for Europe, comments: “We are delighted to have Livie join us to build on the fantastic job that Victoria is doing, growing the business to such an extent that we now need another experienced valuer to manage and develop our presence in Switzerland. Her connections in the European art world will be an added bonus.”
