Youll browse amazing jewelry, ceramics, stone, textiles and 250 lots of amazing ancient Pre-Columbian art including pieces from the important personal Mayan collection of Dr. Stanley Harding Boggs (1910 - 1991) an American archaeologist who worked and developed the archaeology in El Salvador, and who is called The Father of the Salvadorian Archaeology. Dr. Boggs went on to author numerous books and publications about the art and archaeology of the Maya.
Also featured is a very impressive, high quality collection of a noted Hollywood television producer, many of the lots in this collection are published in several important books and are ex museum pieces some once on loan to The Southwest Museum, Chicago Art Institute and in publications by Hasso Von Winning.
