Auction My Stuff presents: The Pop and Film Memorabilia Sale starting on 1st September
Rolling Stones LP.

LONDON.- A vast collection of pop and film memorabilia belonging to an avid private collector is set to become available on AuctionMyStuff.com from the 1st September.

The online sale features highly collectable items of memorabilia from music, film, theatre and sports culture. Comprising 115+ lots, the auction includes costumes, props, signed photographs, LP records and personal items previously worn, owned or used by pop and Hollywood royalty. The selection offered will provide collectors of all ages and interests the opportunity to acquire a special piece of memorabilia associated with their favourite celebrity idol.

The featured items in the sale include a glove worn by Michael Jackson on his 1997 Australian tour, framed with his signature (Estimate $ 5,000-10,000), a "Corsettes Boulevard Ltd" black taffeta and silk outfit worn by Lady Gaga (Estimate $ 3,000-5,000) and a pair of blue jeans worn by Marilyn Monroe (Estimate $ 800-1,200).

Following the great success of AuctionMyStuff’s “Marlene Dietrich: The World’s Most Glamorous Grandmother” sale in March of this year which auctioned 250+ iconic personal items belonging to the actress, the upcoming memorabilia sale will feature a diverse catalogue of property from a private collector called Tim Fredman.

Tim has been collecting iconic pieces of pop and film memorabilia for over 50 years. As a boy growing up in Surrey, England, Tim was an avid autograph hunter, a hobby helped partly by his family’s celebrity ties.

His grandmother knew variety artist Sophie Tucker whom he regarded as a second grandmother. And his father helped finance the 1956 film Reach for the Sky, based on Douglas Bader's biography. As a result, Tim soon had the hottest autograph book in town.

Fredman eventually became a barrister in London but his fascination with history, which he studied at Oxford, inspired him to continue his fascination for what is now known as celebrity memorabilia.

Other offerings in the sale include a red corduroy "McAll" shirt belonging to James Dean (Estimate $ 3,000-5,000), a pair of rhinestone dangling earrings owned and worn by Marilyn Monroe (Estimate $ 1,000-2,000), a photograph from Les Miserables signed by Anne Hathaway (Estimate $ 200-300), a signed Michael Phelps photograph (Estimate $ 100-200), and signed LP records from the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Queen, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Marlene Dietrich and many more.

AuctionMyStuff founder Patrick van der Vorst said of the sale, “Our last memorabilia auction focused on items from the estate of actress Marlene Dietrich and achieved phenomenal results. In this sale, we are bringing a wider selection of top quality memorabilia from a range of stars from the film, music and sporting world. We are excited to be able to offer such an impressive variety of items and with its variety of value offerings; this sale affords an excellent opportunity for a new collector as well as the seasoned connoisseur”.

Auction My Stuff is a new online service provided by online valuation service Value My Stuff which allows customers to put their items up for auction, once valued, in an EBay style marketplace where all items are vetted by experts and where market value is dictated not only by demand, but actual worth.

Online bidding will be available from Monday 1st September to Tuesday 21st September at www.auctionmystuff.com
