MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA.- Sotheby’s Heirloom Discovery Day at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts takes place on Friday, October 17 & Saturday, October 18. Sotheby’s experts are offering verbal valuations, on a first-come, first-served basis,  of heirloom, collectible, and personal treasures: paintings, prints, porcelains, jewelry, furniture, decorative arts, and Asian art objects.

To have valuations of large items, bring 35mm photographs of multiple views of the item. The following items cannot be valued: books, manuscripts, autographed letters, photographs, Ethnographic Art, stamps, coins, works by local artists, and firearms.
