This wristwatch by the Swiss luxury watchmaker Corum is estimated to sell for £100,000-150,000.

LONDON.- A unique and impressive 18 carat gold and diamond gentleman’s skeleton wristwatch by the Swiss luxury watchmaker Corum is estimated to sell for £100,000-150,000 as part of Roseberys Fine Art auction on Tuesday 24 March.

Commissioned and designed exclusively as a one-off timepiece for Middle Eastern nobility in 1982, the watch has a manual wind skeleton movement with diamond set hands. In addition, a double row of diamonds flank the bezel, and it is complimented by a diamond covered graduated double flat curb link bracelet strap. The diamonds were sourced from Michalis, a company established in 1963 and known for their high quality workmanship. Although the current owner wishes to remain anonymous, their identity will be revealed to the successful buyer on completion of the sale. [Lot 54]

An 18ct gold cased Solotempo wristwatch by Bulgari completes the highlights from the watch section of the auction. An Italian jewellery and luxury goods brand established in 1905, the company's Swiss subsidiary, Bulgari Haute Horlogerie SA, is responsible for Bulgari watch production. The Solotempo collection is one of understated elegance. This classic watch has a white face, gold batons and date window, and is estimated to sell for £1,000 – 1,500. [Lot 57]
