NEW YORK, NY.- By introducing a roster of renowned contemporary ceramic and glass artists, The New York Ceramics & Glass Fair, the only vetted fair of its kind in the United States, is taking robust action to expand its already abundant offerings from the 17th through the 21st centuries.

“Our fair has always been dedicated to presenting the best in the field of ceramics and glass,” says Meg Wendy who co-produces the fair with Liz Lees. “By introducing the work of single cutting-edge artists in these mediums, we are broadening the horizon of the fair and pushing its boundaries to illustrate how three-dimensional art has gained a foot-hold in the world of art and design.”

“We welcome these new artists whose work is sure to add a new dimension to our fair,” adds Liz Lees, who started The New York Ceramics & Glass Fair 17 years ago.

Among the contemporary artists whose work will be featured are: Carrie Gustafson (Arlington MA), Gina Pirricilli Hayden (Cold Spring Harbor NY), Hideaki Miyamura Studio (Kensington NH), Vetro Vero (West Grove PA), and Michael Boroniec (Lanesboro MA).

An international roster of top-tier vetted galleries and private dealers from the United States, China, Great Britain, Holland and Turkey will participate. The New York Ceramics & Glass Fair, which takes place on three floors of the Bohemian National Hall, 321 East 73rd Street (between First and Second Avenues), opens with a Private Preview on Wednesday, January 20, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and to the public on Thursday, January 21 through Sunday, January 24. Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets, including catalog, are $20 per person and can be used throughout the duration of the fair.

lectures by prominent experts.
