Swiss performance artist Milo Moire goes nude in Cologne sex assault protest
A policeman looks on as performance artist Milo Moire holds up a poster reading "Respect us! We are no fair game, even when we are naked!!!" as she stands near Cologne's landmark, the Cologne Cathedral, to protest on January 8, 2016 against offenses against women that happened in Cologne on New Year's Eve. Thirty-one suspects, including 18 asylum seekers, are under investigation over offences including assault and theft in Cologne on New Year's Eve, Germany's interior ministry said.

BERLIN (AFP).- Swiss artist Milo Moire Friday threw off her clothes in front of Cologne's cathedral in a protest against a rash of sexual assaults blamed on migrants.

Standing nude in the freezing cold, Moire carried a German-language sign reading: "Respect us! We are no fair game even when we are naked!!!"

Cologne police said they had recorded 121 complaints of assault ranging from groping to two alleged rapes on New Year's Eve, with victims claiming that they were perpetrated by men of "Arab and North African" appearance.

Moire is no stranger to controversial displays of nudity, and was arrested in July by French police after she disrobed and took selfies at the Trocadero in Paris.
