AMSTERDAM.- Royal Philips and the Rijksmuseum extend their partnership with another five years. Building upon the collaborative work in the museum’s renovation and remodeling, Philips will continue to support the Rijksmuseum in its mission of linking people with art and history.

Collaborations Rijksmuseum and Philips
Conserving our cultural history is part of the shared mission by the Rijksmuseum and Philips: the innovations and solutions of Philips applied in the museum aim to touch people’s lives and those of future generations with art. Today, 9,500 square meters and 7,500 artworks at the Rijksmuseum are illuminated by Philips, it is one of the largest gallery spaces ever lit by LED lighting. The lighting design has a strong focus on the visitor experience and the conservation of the artworks.
