Bonhams has appointed Christine de Schaetzen as its representative for Belgium and Luxembourg. Christine will be based in Brussels, providing client services and sourcing a wide range of property in Fine Art, Antiques, Jewellery and Collectibles within the region for the companys global network of salerooms in the UK, Europe, US and Hong Kong. Christine takes up her post with immediate effect.
Christine de Schaetzen is Brussels-born and has worked in her home city for most of her career - with the Patrick Derom gallery, the Foundation pour lArchitecture & Architectural Museum and latterly as the Brussels representative and director of a leading firm of German auctioneers.
A Master in the history of art from the Université libre de Bruxelles, Christine has a particular specialist knowledge of Post-War and Contemporary Art.
Christine will be based at Bonhams office in Brussels at Boulevard Saint-Michel 101. 1040 Brussels.
