MADRID, SPAIN.- The third edition of DeArte 2004, Madrid’s new fair of Spanish art, opens at the Palacio de Congresos, from January 22-26, 2004. Some 25,000 visitors are expected at the fair, which counts with 30 galleries with works by approximately 500 national and international artists and diverse creative spaces for the public. Among the top dealers to be present at the event are Bennassar Galleries (Baleares), El Quatre (Barcelona), Castelló120 (Madrid), Dionìs Bennassar (Madrid), Gema Lazcano (Madrid), Maes (Madrid), Mun (Madrid), Nave del Arte (Madrid), DKS (Vitoria) and Gaudí (Madrid).
This year, DeARTE intends to conquer the critical, public and economic success of its two passed editions, as last year it counted on 25.000 visitors. This year there is to be an encounter of cultural exchange between consolidated and new artists, national galleries, art collectors and art lovers, who during five intense days, will be able to enjoy, learn, admire and acquire the latest tendencies in art offered by creative Spaniards.
