The Clarion List expands to 29 Europeaan cities this August

Via their directory of art companies with crowd-sourced ratings and reviews, The Clarion List offers an alternative to the notoriously opaque art market that relies heavily on word-ofmouth and insider referrals.

NEW YORK, NY.- The Clarion List – a website that helps collectors, artists and advisors find thousands of art service providers – expands to 29 European cities this August, bringing the total number of markets served to 54.

Via their directory of art companies with crowd-sourced ratings and reviews, The Clarion List offers an alternative to the notoriously opaque art market that relies heavily on word-ofmouth and insider referrals. Within the 54 cities, users can search among 36 service categories, including appraisers, conservators, art law firms, security providers, e-commerce platforms, private dealers, transport companies, storage providers and installers.

The new and expanded cities include: Amsterdam, Athens, Berlin, Brussels, Budapest, Cologne, Copenhagen, Dublin, Edinburgh, Geneva, Hamburg, Helsinki, Istanbul, Lisbon, Luxembourg, Madrid, Marseille, FR, Milan, Monaco, Munich, Oslo, Paris, Prague, Rome, Stockholm, Toulouse, FR, Venice, Vienna, and Zurich.

"We decided to focus our resources on a rapid expansion to major European art markets due to high demand by our site users. The lack of transparency and accessibility in the art market is a truly global phenomenon. We hope our expanded database alleviates that problem and creates a more connected global art market,” said Paindiris.

Currently, The Clarion List is available in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami, Palm Beach, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Charleston, S.C., Charlotte, N.C., Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio, Houston, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Denver, Seattle, Portland, Ore., Westchester County, N.Y. and northern New Jersey, and Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire as well as London, England.
