SARASOTA, FLA.- Andrea Dasha Reich's Off the Wall solo exhibition showcases her newest work, latex ArtWear and an evolution of her Fusion Painting Series. Both can be seen at
Alfstad& Contemporary in Sarasota. The exhibition runs April 7 through May 26, with a one-week hiatus, April 29 to May 9.
The latex art extends Reich's vision in new and exciting directions. Calling on her background in fashion and textile design, her tapestries and wearables are explosively colorful and ingeniously designed, each a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of art.
"Art should be inspiring and fun," says Reich. "I'm a happy person, and I think people can see that in my art."
Staying true to her signature style, Reich is also showing additions of her celebrated Fusion Painting Series, organic explorations that have evolved into new paintings.
"I draw inspiration from organic shapes, the innate beauty and power found in nature," she says.
The works of Andrea Dasha Reich have been featured in solo and group art exhibitions across the United States, and displayed in private and corporate collections around the world. Born in Prague, educated at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, Reich initially worked in fashion and textile design in New York City, later moving to fine art and establishing her studio in Sarasota.
This is Reich's second solo exhibition at Alfstad& Contemporary.
