PITTSBURGH, PA.- The Andy Warhol Museum has made key management-level staff changes by expanding duties of existing staff members. These internal movements strengthen The Warhol’s ability to accomplish its mission and achieve its goals. As we work to further define Andy Warhol’s legacy and his continuing influence on contemporary art and culture, we will increase our record of curation and scholarly accomplishment. Our goal is to build institutional and business relationships to maintain The Warhol’s sustainably.

Rachel Baron-Horn, director of finance and operations, has been promoted to deputy director. Baron-Horn joined The Warhol in 1997 and has worked in various roles since joining the team.

José Carlos Diaz, Milton Fine curator of art, has been promoted to chief curator. Diaz joined The Warhol in 2016 after working as the curator of exhibitions at the Bass Museum of Art in Miami Beach, Florida.

Jessica Beck, associate curator of art, has been promoted to Milton Fine curator of art. Beck joined The Warhol in 2014 and previously worked for the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, D.C., as a programs associate.

Danielle Linzer, curator of education and interpretation, has been promoted to director of learning and public engagement. Linzer joined The Warhol in 2016 after her previous position as director of access and community programs at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City.

In announcing the changes, Patrick Moore, director of The Warhol, stated, “The Warhol is a mature institution with ambitious curatorial and business goals. This new management structure gives the museum a balanced team to achieve those goals in the most strategic way.” All appointments are effective May 10, 2017.
