BERLIN.- The Berliner Liste is taking place parallel to Berlin Art Week from September 15th to 17th at the Postbahnhof am Ostbahnhof on 4.000 square meters. For the fourteenth time, the discovery fair presents a wide spectrum of international contemporary art at affordable prices. More than 90 exhibitors from 34 countries and five continents present their latest work and current programs.

This makes the 2017 edition the most international LISTE of all times.

HIGHLIGHTS
You can look forward to an interdisciplinary experience: “The Temple” a Gesamtkunstwerk by the artists Vera Kochubey and Mischa Fanghaenel, in collaboration with AP Entertainment. On opening night, “The Temple” presented an audio-visual light and art installation with live painting and a contemporary dance performance from the Russian dancer and choreographer Valentin Tzin, with musical accompaniment from the Berghain icons DJ Rødhåd and Kobosil.

The Urban Art Section is presenting a large, solo show by the internationally renowned street-art artist Jim Avignon. Just a few meters away from his large mural on the section of Berlin Wall at the East Side Gallery.

The range of exhibitors has never before been this international: Visitors can discover art from 34 countries and five continents. The spectrum runs from the presentation of young, rising Eastern European art from Russia, Romania, Belarus, Estonia, and Ukraine, to presentations from nearly every Western and Southern European country, to exhibitors from Canada, the United States, and Israel. At the stands from those participants coming from Asia, visitors are given an exciting look at the art scene in the Philippines, alongside contemporary Buddhist Thangka art and modern ceramic art from Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
