We look forward to working with Random House Publisher Services, said Carolyn Gleason, director of Smithsonian Books. Random House is an industry leader in sales and marketing, and their academic, library and international marketplace representation will work well with our list. We will also take advantage of their production resources, state-of-the-art warehouse facilities and expertise in the emerging area of electronic publishing.
We always appreciate the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a premiere brand and publishing program; Smithsonian Books represents the best of both, said Jeff Abraham, president of Random House Publisher Services.
