The top lot was a complete illustrated book of nine signed engravings by Louise Bourgeois, He Disappeared Into Complete Silence, Gemor Press, New York, 1947, which realized $516,500 and established a world auction record for prints by the artist. Strong prices were achieved for prints by Andy Warhol, including the complete Moonwalk set, which sold for $336,500; and The Scream (After Munch), which realized $275,000. Other notable results included the rare lithograph by Vincent Van Gogh, The Potato Eaters, 1885 from the Francey and Dr. Martin L. Gecht Collection, which realized $212,500; and Willem de Kooning, Quatre Lithographies, 1986, which sold for more than four times the low estimate for $212,500.

The top lot of the sale was Sunset with orange, turquoise, and yellow, realizing $175,000, establishing a new record for a Warhol Sunset. Nine of the ten lots set auction records for the image, with all lots surpassing or matching the previous record for any Warhol Sunset, and many more than doubling it. Exceptional prices were achieved for all lots with 250% sold above low estimate. There was global bidding with registrants represented across the United States, Canada, the UK, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
