SAN FRANCISCO, CA.- Turner Auctions + Appraisals will present ‘Baubles, Purses & More: The Final Felicia Michalski Jewelry Sale,’ featuring fine and costume jewelry, beaded and vintage purses, and more on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at 10:30 am PST. Featuring over 145 lots acquired over five decades, the sale offers fine jewelry, mostly for ladies, including rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, pendants, brooches, watches and more. Most are crafted of gold or silver, gem-set with embellishments such as diamonds, opal, amethyst, jade, amber, turquoise, coral, cinnabar, rose quartz, cultured pearls, tourmaline, moonstone, bone, agate, onyx, tiger’s eye and other semi-precious stones. Among the items are Southwest-style and Mexican silver jewelry, including cuff bracelets; and several charm bracelets. A highlight is an oversized gold charm necklace, with charms of nine world cities, including a Paris charm by Cartier. Several items come from another collector, including a 2.10 carat diamond solitaire ring.

Of note is an extensive selection of purses and bags, including Victorian and Art Deco beaded purses, a vintage Chanel purse, a vintage Judith Leiber evening bag, a Gump’s clutch with jade and brocade, snakeskin purses, and evening bags of Swiss petit point and from Paris. There are also many groupings of costume jewelry and other wearables – antique, vintage and retro – including necklaces, bracelets, pins, pocket and wrist watches, shoe and belt buckles, and gentlemen’s accessories. In addition, the sale includes a Gucci pen, parasol handles, a carving set, Baccarat paperweights, several clocks, a cigarette case, jewelry boxes and pouches, and more.

Turner Auctions + Appraisals begins its online auction on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at 10:30 am PST; items in the sale are available for preview and bidding now. The online auction will be featured live on three platforms: LiveAuctioneers, Invaluable, and Turner Auctions + Appraisals’ free mobile app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Apps ("Turner Auctions"). All are easily accessed through ‘Upcoming Auctions’ at the company’s website.

Lot 73: Oversize Gold Charm Necklace, Including Cartier. The gold-filled link chain suspending nine 18k, 14k and 9k gold and gem-set oversize charms from world cities, including an 18k gold Paris charm signed Cartier (with ref. no.); and London, Rome, Venice, Sydney, Copenhagen and Hawaii; set with jade, cultured pearl, opal doublet, ruby, sapphire, cubic zirconia and synthetic stones; gross weight of gold approximately: 180 grams. Estimate $2,500 - $3,500.

Lot 15: Vintage Chanel Black Quilted Leather Shoulder Bag. Circa 1980s, lambskin leather, with metal "CC" emblem, 26 in. chain & woven leather strap, burgundy interior, rear pocket compartment, with original felt pouch and box; 7 1/2 x 5 x 1 1/2in.; excellent condition. Estimate: $300-500.

Lot 70: 18k Gold Ball-Form Bracelet. Weighing approximately 53.7g; length: 8 3/4in. (some denting). Estimate: 1,000 - $1,500.

Lot 1: Three Victorian Beaded Purses. Measuring approximately 10 x 7in, 7 x 7 in. and 6 1/2 x 5 in.; good condition overall. Estimate: $100-150.

Lot 26: Boulder Opal and Diamond Pendant with Chain. In 14k white and yellow gold; opal measuring approximately 34 x 26 x 8.7 mm; diamond weighing approximately 0.05 ct; gross weight: 38.7 grams; pendant measuring: 1 1/2 x 2 in.; chain length: 17in. Estimate $600 - $800.

Lot 101: Monard Swiss 18k Pink Gold Quarter Hour Repeater. Pocket watch case: 53 mm, hunting case, no. 164862, slide repeat, engine turned lids, smooth circle frame on front. Dial: white enamel with black Roman numerals and minute track, five minute numerals, gold "Louis XIV" hands, subsidiary seconds. Movement: nickel bridge, 35 jewel, straight line lever, gold train gears, bi-metallic balance, wolf's tooth winding repeater not currently working, not tested for accuracy or current running condition. Estimate: $600-800.

Lot 49: SouthwestStyle Jewelry. A grouping consisting of two necklaces and five bracelets. Largest example: 12 inches in length. Condition: missing clasps and some damage to beads. Estimate $300 - $500.

Lot 77: Semi-Precious Stone and Silver Bangle Bracelet. The bangle bezel and prong-set with assorted stones including jade, opal, tiger's eye, synthetic star sapphire and ruby, star sapphire, coral, smoky quartz, glass and amethyst; fits an 8 in. wrist; width: 1 3/4 in. Estimate $1,000 - $1,500.

Lot 74: 2.10 Carat Diamond and 14k Solitaire Ring. Centering a round brilliant-cut diamond weighing an estimated 2.10 ct, with J-K-L color and I1-I2 clarity, the mount channel-set with 60 smaller round brilliant-cut diamonds weighing in total approximately 1.20cts, TLB and VS-SI; approximately 9.4 grams; size 5 3/4.; note: the ring is rhodium-plated 14k yellow gold. Estimate $2,000 - $3,000.
