LONDON.- Thirty dealers have joined together under the auspices of the Cotswolds Art and Antiques Dealers’ Association (CADA) to present on online catalogue of items for sale in celebration of their 40th anniversary. The exhibition will run until end-December.

From Canaletto to Chippendale and Chagall, from Lowry to a Renaissance loving cup, from a Renoir to a rank badge, each dealer is presenting three hero items to represent the wide spectrum that CADA’s specialist dealers have to offer.

The Cotswolds is one of the most beautiful and historic areas of England. It is also the home of the largest concentration of art and antiques dealers outside London. The very best of each discipline is represented in the online exhibition, including furniture, silver, early needlework and antique boxes, sculpture, bronze, clocks and barometers, carpets and textiles, glass, jewellery, English and Oriental ceramics, garden ornaments and statuary and pictures, including modern art.

The brainchild behind the exhibition, Alex Puddy, Chair of CADA says: ‘I am delighted to have brought together the membership of the Cotswolds Art and Antiques Dealers’ Association (CADA) in our 40th year to put forward their stories and fine examples of their inventories in this online, page turntable and printable exhibition catalogue. This online exhibition represents, in our profession, a fresh and modern approach to presenting fine art and antiques linking interested clients directly to the CADA dealer and their expertise across the wide range of specialities represented in our association; this is a first and I hope you find an item or two of interest - if nothing else there are some surprising insights into the personalities within the trade and sage advice on how to start a collection.’
