HAMILTON, NJ.- Grounds For Sculpture, the 42-acre sculpture park, arboretum, and museum in Hamilton, NJ, announced the appointment of Alexander Gladney, Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Capital Health System, Inc., to its Board of Trustees.
A graduate of Georgetown University, Gladney holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Fine Arts. Following his undergraduate education, he attended Temple University School of Law, earning his Juris Doctorate with a focus on Corporate Law. At Capital Health, Gladney manages a variety of responsibilities across several departments, including corporate, real estate, contract, and voting rights law. Outside of his professional endeavors, Gladney is a committed philanthropist, and is particularly passionate about organizations and causes related to the healthcare field and communities affected by poverty.
In 2018, GFS adopted a new strategic plan which builds on the sound and vibrant foundation of success of the last 25 years. Among the core tenets of the plan is the belief that the experience and discovery of art in nature is transformative, and that visiting an oasis of beauty with art and imaginatively landscaped gardens can awaken the senses, enhance well-being, and stimulate reflection.

Gladney joins Eric B. Ryan (President), Barbara Lawrence (Vice President), Marco B. Cucchi (Treasurer), Nancy Kieling (Secretary), Ulli Arendt, Teri P. Cox, Michael Greenleaf, Gordon Gund, Ilana Gutierrez, Penelope E. Lattimer, Ph.D, Sharon Lorenzo, Scott McVay, Esther Novak, Elizabeth Strong-Cuevas, and Barry Zhang as well as esteemed board member emeritus and GFS founder, Seward Johnson to create a 16-person board.
