Bidding opens for Lark Mason Associates and Everard Auctions Decorative Art Sales

NEW BRAUNFELS, TX.- Over 700 lots are up for bidding on iGavelAuctions.com through Lark Mason Associates and Everard Auctions & Appraisals in January and early February, with exhibitions in New York, Texas, and Savannah. The Everard Auctions & Appraisals sale is open for bidding from January 17- February 5, while Lark Mason Associates sale opens for bidding on January 29 - February 12.

"There are some incredible gems in both sales," says Lark Mason. "Our low estimates will certainly warm the hearts of anyone looking for attractive pieces to enhance their interiors."

Among the 20th century and contemporary highlights offered by Lark Mason Associates are a striking sculpture by George Sugarman, Small Sanctuary expected to realize $10,000-15,000; a Polychrome Wood Female Bust, Temptress by Alan Clark (1896-1950) dating to circa 1925 with an estimate of $8,000-10,000; and a rare Tiffany and Company 18k Gold Dressing Table Set, circa 1915 comprised of 15 pieces. Earlier works include a rare European Turtleshell, Brass, and Pewter inlaid Traveling Chest after a design by Jean Berain the Elder, circa 1700-1720 estimated at $10,000-15,000.

From Everard Auctions comes Ernest Tino Trova's, Falling Man, steel cast in 1978 at $5,000-7,000 and a beautiful selection of furniture highlighted by a finely carved George III Mahogany Dressing Chest with icicle-carved feet, estimated at $3,000-5,000; and a bronze sculpture of Cupid and Psyche by Eugene-Ernest Chretien, with an estimate of $8,000-12,000.

Overall, the two sales will offer a wide selection of American and European furniture, with examples from the baroque through 20th century, a selection of ethnographic masks and works of art, and over 100 rugs and carpets from Turkey, Iran, and other regions and Europe.

The Everard Auctions & Appraisals sale is open for bidding from January 17- February 5, 2019, with a reception in Savannah at 2436 Waters Avenue, Savannah on January 29 (call for information 912-231-1376) and exhibitions open to the public at the same location on January 30 and 31.

The Lark Mason Associates' sale opens for bidding on January 29 - February 12 and is on view in Texas at 210 West Mill Street From January 29-February 8th; exhibition in New York at 227 East 120th Street Monday -Friday through February 8.
