ROME, ITALY.- Art expert Giordana Benazzi stated that the painting found at the church of Saint Mary di Servi in Gubbio, Italy, was painted by Raphael beteen 1498 and 1499, when he as 16 years-old. The painting measures to meters high and 1.6 meters wide. It portrays resurrected Christ between Saint Ubaldo and Saint Francis of Assisi.
She stated, "It is a very young Raphael, when he was 16 years-old, very far away from the style developed later after the teachings of Perugino."

According to the representative of the dioceses of Gubbio, Paolo Salciarini, the canvas was found accidentally in the province of Perugia while doing an art inventory.
