HONG KONG.- LANDMARK’s ‘A Year of Play’ campaign brings an exciting collaboration with award-winning creator Dennis Chan, who is presenting his HAHA PANDA exhibition in Hong Kong for the first time this May. Under the theme, “Harmony in Play”, the collection explores aspirations for true happiness and harmony. The HAHA PANDA series at LANDMARK features exclusive HAHA PANDA merchandise and a specially curated tea set at CAFE LANDMARK, in addition to the HAHA PANDA exhibition.

The exhibition showcases a selection of 12 HAHA PANDA art pieces by Dennis Chan, whose multidisciplinary portfolio of work covers sculpture, design, photography and more. A series of HAHA PANDA art pieces will be on display at the LANDMARK ATRIUM and LANDMARK PRINCE’S from 10th to 24th May. With vibrant colours and design elements, the collection highlights three quintessential ideas under the theme, “Harmony in Play” – Money vs. Happiness, Me vs. the World, and Harmony vs. Disruption. When these conflicting forces are balanced in life, true happiness and harmony can be found. The name HAHA PANDA in itself, offers a play on imagery to evoke joy. The “HAHA” not only represents the universal language of laughter, but also reflects harmony, while the beloved “PANDA” illustration is an ode to the benevolent animal, often used as a gentle symbol of Chinese culture and tradition.

“We invite customers to immerse themselves in A Year of Play of self-expression, imagination and playful celebration this year. The HAHA PANDA empowers through art and culture, intertwines elements of traditional Chinese heritage and contemporary design, bringing in a uniquely dynamic expression of play and harmony to our customers,” said Mr Warren Bishop, Director & Head of Retail Commercial Property.

HAHA PANDA creator Dennis Chan, who is also the founder and creative director of jewellery brand Qeelin, said, “We are delighted to be partnering with a premier destination like the LANDMARK to bring HAHA PANDA to Hong Kong for the very first time. A Year of Play offers the ideal backdrop for HAHA PANDA’s philosophical artistry, symbolism and craftsmanship, and reinforces our shared vision of evoking joy and reflection in visitors.”

Apart from the art collection, exclusive HAHA PANDA merchandise is available at LANDMARK from 10th to 31st May for families and children to bring the joy of HAHA PANDA home. Shoppers will also receive double the BESPOKE points with every purchase, and additional points when reserving any LANDMARK HOME & KIDS items via the LANDAMRK HONGKONG app during the promotional period. All proceeds from HAHA PANDA merchandise sales will be donated to MINDSET1, a local charity focused on raising awareness about mental health and aiding those in need.

Last but not the least, a specially curated HAHA PANDA afternoon tea set will be available at CAFE LANDMARK till the end of May. Enjoy the Instagram-worthy HAHA chocolate treats, delicate sandwiches in HAHA wrapping and HAHA toppings on classic desserts, among other theme-inspired edible surprises.
