Daniel Vázquez Díaz Opens at Museo Reina Sofia
Daniel Vázquez Díaz. Rua de Portugal.

MADRID, SPAIN.- The Museo Reina Sofia presents Daniel Vázquez Díaz. 1882-1969, through January 10, 2005. Daniel Vázquez Díaz (Nerva, Huelva, 1882 - Madrid, 1969) is a key figure of 20th century Spanish artistic culture and a major reference for many of the artists who, between the 1920s and the 1970s, defended an alliance between tradition and modernity in Spanish art. This anthological exhibition aims, in the light of new historiographical models, to recover his true historico-artistic dimension.
