· Arts and Craft pieces from the home of noted LA architecture chronicler Robert “Bungalow Bob” Winter, including rare table lamps, furniture and objects.

Curated by Bonhams Los Angeles Director Jason Stein, the sale will showcase the best of modern design in a setting that reflects how we live today. With more than 25 years experience in the auction business and decorative arts at Bonhams, as well as other auction houses, Jason has developed the relationships and the eye to source the best items for this sale.

Jason Stein commented, “The fall sale encompasses rare finds from prestigious architects, design aficionados, historical buildings and classic design icons. We are excited to offer this special collection that gives us a glimpse into a timeless lifestyle, but emphasizing how we live today.”

For the Modern Design | Art Sale, Jason selected a wide array of pieces ranging from mid-century artifacts, lighting and collectibles, fine art and modernist paintings, Mexican sculptures, studio pottery, French and Italian lighting, ceramics and glass pieces among other categories.

To showcase the wide range of lots included in Bonhams Modern Design | Art Sale, Jason Stein is working with Simon Ford to create enticing vignettes to preview the pieces.

The sale will also include works by Dale Chihuly, Dieter Rams, Rene Lalique, Sam Maloof, Studio Job, and Beatrice Wood, among others.

The sale will be on public view at Bonhams Los Angeles starting October 23, with the auction to be held Sunday, October 27 at 10 am.
