BRYN MAWR, PA.- Twelve Philadelphia area artists will have their paintings on display in The American College’s Gregg Conference Center Gallery on The College’s campus in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania from December 5, 2004 through January 30, 2005. On Sunday, December 5, the first day of the art exhibition, a reception will be held in the gallery from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. where the public can meet the artists.

Artists whose work will be on display at the exhibition include: Nancy Barch, Peggy Binns, Laurie Daddona, Ann Howes, Pat Kerr, Doree Loschiavo, Eileen McNulty, Jane Miluski, Wendy Scheirer, Jean Spicer, Taeko Yonetani and Susan Zimmerman.

Three of these artists, Nancy Barch, Pat Kerr and Ann Howes, were recently commissioned to create paintings for the 2004 American Cancer Society Christmas cards. This honorable selection, which is only bestowed upon four Philadelphia artists each year, involves the painting of Philadelphia scenes for the American Cancer Society Christmas cards that are sold to the public to benefit the Society.

Art exhibitions at The American College Gregg Center Gallery are sponsored throughout the year as part of an on-going effort to provide service to the surrounding community. The regular gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sundays 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays by appointment. The Gallery will be closed between Christmas and New Year except by appointment. For more information on the exhibit call 610-526-1100 or 610-526-1452.
