LONDON.- Critically acclaimed artist, producer, song writer, and esteemed Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood will be the special Guest Artist for The Other Art Fair’s Online Studios launched on April 28.

Online Studios will feature a series of previously unseen numbered limited-edition prints signed by Ronnie and two exclusive set list lithographs all available for purchase. These works are vibrant re-workings of his beautiful collages and etchings of The Rolling Stones and featuring the band’s setlists from concerts in Pasadena, CA and Glastonbury, UK.

An established artist with a rapidly expanding fan base, Ronnie Wood’s work is widely collected throughout the world. The Other Art Fair is very excited to have Ronnie as the latest guest artist and will be announcing additional plans to collaborate with him further later this year.

As his musical career progressed, Ronnie continued his passion for painting and drawing; his subjects ranging from band members and musicians he admired, knew and sometimes played with, to family and close friends – and of course, the self-portrait. It is as natural to find him with a pencil as with a guitar, drawing portraits of his contemporaries and finding constant inspiration from his musical influences.

'Online Studios' is a new digital art experience from The Other Art Fair and Saatchi Art that gives art lovers around the world the opportunity to discover artwork from the independent artists meant to show at the The Other Art Fair's now postponed Spring fairs.

The Other Art Fair Founder Ryan Stanier toured Wood’s home studio in March before the lockdown where he chatted to Ronnie about his art, painting his bandmates and the work that inspires him as an artist. He also got a sneak peek at Ronnie’s latest works.

Ronnie has spent much of the lockdown in his studio, painting every day. He recently created a painting called NHS Heroes that he has donated to Bonham’s as part of their Blue Auction to raise funds for frontline workers.

“I'm always looking for new inspiration for my art,” comments Ronnie Wood, “Colour fills my life. Even the decoration in my homes is a riot of colour. I paint the walls, everything, and I've even turned some of my art into mosaics for our bathroom. I've turned paintings into carpets, stained glass and bronzes, and have collaborated on marine chronometers for Bremont and even a Rolls-Royce Wraith; Liberty and Co department store has used my paintings to create scarves, bags and clothes. I've done art for albums, including the cover of an Eric Clapton album, and I do the Stones' setlists as little works of art. Art fills my life, art is my life and art will continue to be my life,” says Wood.

Previous Guest Artists at The Other Art Fair have included Tracey Emin, Gavin Turk, Martin Parr, Polly Morgan, The Connor Brothers, Gary Baseman and Ben Eine.
