Things to Look Before Setting out for Immigration: a Checklist

Our world is shrinking day by day and we all are bound to travel somehow, sometimes because of our own preferences, sometimes we tend to travel abroad just for the sake of money, study is also an option and now a days a lot of people are planning to acquire their higher education form some world renowned university.

The documents you need to provide to the state will vary for different circumstances. For instance if you are applying for immigration for job purpose then you are bound to provide your employment documents, some states will ask you to fill some forms such as in USA you can ask for I- 9 employment verification or they have DC mobile notary, similarly for student visa you will be asked to provide some academic documents along with the visa and permittance letters.

On the other hand, a person moving with his family or spouse will have to provide some extra documents for his family members or spouse.

Immigration in its literal meaning is moving from your native land to another state whatever the motivating factors are, it is an acknowledged fact that no country or state will let you enter its periphery without approval from your embassy and permit from the desired country.

Immigration is not an easy phenomenon, this process involves various steps, which have to be followed with great care, a little misunderstanding can lead you to a total destruction of your dreams.

In this article I have explained some points which usually do not cross people’s minds when they plan about immigration. It is a myth that immigration is a very hard and difficult process, however it is not very easy. It can be easy if you are an obedient citizen, dedicated to the states, both native and the upcoming state.

After reading it I am sure that the anxiety we all face when we are set to travel, will vanish because you are going to make a checklist before you plan to travel.

Passports Are the Actual Passes
Whenever you move around or go at some event you are asked to provide a permit, ticket or pass. Similarly when you are going to pass the ports of some state.

Different states have got various policies for their passports. That is why it is recommended to renew your passport if it is going to be expired before or within 6 months. Otherwise you may get stuck in the new state.

Another thing is the period for renewal of the passport. It can take almost two to six weeks for the renewal of your precious passport. Lastly, make sure that it is an approved passport.

Check the Embassy Websites
When you are planning to move around the world, and you think that you are unable to afford the visa. Then, it is high time to check your country’s embassy site. Many people can travel to various countries because of free or no visa policy while some are still bound to get an approved visa.

You are supposed to get a clear cut info about the visa policies of your country and about the country you are travelling to, some countries allow the visa on arrival while some are quite strict because of security reasons.

Vaccination
Your health is your wealth. This issue has been taken up by world health organization. You are suggested to get a vaccination before you set off from your country.

At world health organization website you can check a list of diseases for which you will need a vaccination. Some countries are meticulous about the vaccinated immigrants. That is why you will have to take your vaccination approved documents with you, so that they may let you cross the boarders.

Be Safe
This is a thing, you ought not to ignore it. accept it that when you travel or migrate to some new state or country you are not fully aware of the norms and cultures or policies of that state. Many time travelers and tourists face unfavorable circumstances in which they are bound to be kept in jail because they did something prohibited and illegal.

In this regard you must check the rules of the country, some general rules you can google them or ask the travel agency about it.

Another option which you can pursue for a safer travel is the travel insurance, there are a number of travel agencies and even your government may offer this facility.
If unfortunately you get into any kind of trouble, you can easily get rid of that because of the travel insurance. These are to sort out your accidental issues while travelling and immigrating.

Travel insurance is not something compulsory and the custom officers will not ask for it, but you must take those documents with you specially if you are a frequent traveler.

Financial Support
You may be asked to prove that you can afford yourself here in the new country. Thus, many countries have this norm and policy of asking the new immigrants about their wealth and worth.

This can be an issue if you are travelling from a developing country to a developed state with a strong currency. You will need to ask for a statement document from an authorized bank or your homeland’s state about your financial credibility.

A Lot of Copies
Make sur that before you set your foot out of your house you have got a bag with a file, containing some papers. These papers will be of course copies of your original document.

Now you can scan these documents and keep them in your mobile phone. This is the most advanced option but keeping some hard copies is also very important.

Conclusion
If you have read this article, and have decided to follow the tips and instructions explained here. Then I am sure you will not face any kind of problems while passing the ports for travelling or for immigration. You will only be enjoying your life any where in the world.
