Centre Pompidou-Metz launches new projects on streaming platforms Deezer and Spotify
#daybyday in music on Deezer® and Spotify®

METZ.- Davide Bertocchi “Top 100” playlist is broadcasted on the Deezer® and Spotify® accounts of the Centre Pompidou-Metz, where are brought together the favorites soundtracks of personalities from the international art world: art critics, artists, curators, gallery owners, collectors.

Begun in 2003, this project includes seven "Top 100" involving more than 700 personalities from the art world.

The Centre Pompidou-Metz team has been invited to participate in eighth "Top 100" in collaboration with the artist Ettore Favini and produced by the Dena Foundation For Contemporary Art - Paris, Brussels. It will be on release in June.

#abc from 1910 to today on Facebook
A...as Abstraction, B...as Bauhaus, C...as Concept...
Published twice a week under a poetic Art ABC, a movement, artists or key works of modernity and contemporary art are highlighted by a notion.

#daybyday with the artists
On all its social networks, the Centre Pompidou-Metz continues to share today's artists reflections, activities, thoughts and words through photographed poems and described images.

Etel Adnan published a fragment of his poem Night at the beginning of confinement. Then, Tatiana Trouvé and Jérémy Demester shared a drawing hidden by her reading and a fragment of a text by Fernando Pessoa. Piero Golia unveiled a sculpture born from the carcass of his car after an accident in Los Angeles which bears witness to the value of resilience. Mircea Cantor chose a photograph of the artist's hand presented as an extension of creative thought, self-portrait and workshop. Annette Messager shared pages from the catalogue of the exhibition Death Will Never Know and one of her confinement drawings Finger of Honour Against the Virus to show the fragile links between certainties and knowledge. Navid Nuur chose one of his artworks: a sentence engraved on a copper plate whose words have been filled with the medicinal ointment "Vicks Vaporub®" used in respiratory illness.

Olivier Bardin shared a digital micro-retrospective on distance, limits, barriers and relationship to the others. Stéphanie Saadé and Charbel-Joseph H. Boutros revealed their respective readings: a book on the Giorgio Agamben childhood in which we can learn that play is the remedy for the passing of time, and a page devoted to a house designed by the architect Sou Foujimoto where there is no longer any difference between inside and outside. Marc Leschelier has published a picture of one of his "brutal follies" and an extract of the "Mould Manifesto against Rationalism..." by the architect Hundertwasser. Other contributions by Fabrice Hyber and Shimabuku will be published soon.

Others open their doors and create videos specially designed for the period. Through 5 videos, Liam Everett illustrated how painting could replace a body. From night till morning, Ida Tursic & Wilfried Mille have conceived video shots of Naples and their studio questioning the notion of time passing. Elmgreen & Dragset, alone in their studio, filmed each other from a distance. Rosa Barba reactivated her installation Boundaries of Consumption showing the game of balance and stability. Jorge Pardo shared his recipe for beef tongue, polenta and zucchini from his workshop in Merida, Mexico.
