Chiara Magni brings an ancient technique to modern times

There are a lot of things that influence any given society, but perhaps the most influential one is art. It’s something that can clearly depict and express a particular subject elaborately. Within the sphere of art, there’s a niche that tends to be unique in very many ways. Finger painting is a form of art that’s slowly gaining mainstream traction and appreciation. One of the pioneers of this type of art is Chiara Magni; a young talented woman who hails from Italy.

The Italian finger painter has garnered much recognition due to her stunning paintings. Not only are her works exceptional, but they’re also inspirational. Most of her paintings are centered around subjects such as flora & fauna, humans, views, and nudes among others. Something that has also made her to be more relatable is her exhilarating journey to the top.

Where It All Began
Having being featured in the ‘Top 10 Most Influential People in 2020’ by Yahoo Finance, this is a clear indication of her level of excellence. Her journey to success is one that has had its fair share of twists and turns. From a very young age, she often found joy through painting and drawing. Little did she know that her life would revolve around colors, art, and different perspectives of life.

Turning Professional
Between 2014 and 2015, Chiara decided to pursue painting as her full-time job. She has since managed to garner worldwide recognition. Most of her paintings have been sold to various parts of the world including the U.S, U.K, Israel, and New Zealand among other countries. The success she has gotten is a result of pure passion and aptitude for the craft. Her ability to find finger painting relaxing and therapeutic has certainly enabled her to create exceptional masterpieces.

Breaking Barriers
It’s quite hard to succeed as an artist - especially if you’re a finger painter; only a fraction of people manages to see the pinnacle of success in this industry. Chiara had to overcome various challenges in order to reach where she is today. Even though she was passionate about painting, turning what she loved doing into a well-paying job wasn’t an easy task. However, her determination to make her dream possible was greater than the apparent difficulties.

Chiara is the perfect embodiment of strength; she believed in herself and was patient enough when her future looked bleak during the initial stages of her career. She also braced herself for the tough times while still maintaining a positive attitude throughout the whole process. One of her most admirable attributes is managing to enjoy her craft amidst hard times. In hindsight, what really made her to grow was not being hard on herself no matter how tough things were. This is actually what allowed her to enjoy the journey and the process, thus improving her skills and fan base.

Driving Force
The beauty of being an artist is this - there isn’t one artist who’s similar to the other. Inasmuch as one can borrow a particular trait from the other, it’s a field that generally thrives in uniqueness. Different painters draw their inspiration from different sources. For Chiara, beautiful starry skies happen to be one of her many inspirations. She’s also fascinated by different elements of life; her tough-spirited nature has enabled her to take on difficult routes. This is actually why she has opted to paint some of the so-called difficult areas such as animals, nudes.

Her positive attitude towards life has also largely contributed to the successful woman she is today. Her mantra is to set almost impossible goals which ultimately drives her to actively pursue and achieve the set goals.

Giving Back
Chiara likes to share her journey with everyone, this is actually why she holds workshops that are aimed at inspiring young artists. With such a captivating story, it’s quite hard for anyone not to feel challenged.

Final Thought
Finger painting is one of the toughest genres of art; only a fraction of artists in that field have actually managed to break the ceiling. Chiara Magni’s story is one that leaves any broken heart inspired and motivated. She is truly an inspirational figure not only in the art industry but also to many young women, proving that anything is possible through hard work and dedication.
