1. The University of Melbourne
The University of Melbourne is located in the city of Melbourne, Victoria. This university has seven campuses in total, with the Parkville campus being the main one. This campus has:

2. UNSW Sydney
UNSW Sydney is a university located in the city of Sydney, Australia. It is considered as one of the most important universities in the country, founded in 1949 and with approximately 53,481 students.

The main campus of this university is in the eastern part of the Kensington neighborhood, made up of supermarkets, gym, bars, banks, restaurants, two libraries, travel office, clothing store, bookstore, eye clinic, pharmacies, etc.

The university is particularly strong in engineering and technology, business, and law. In the 2016 QS World University Rankings by Subject, UNSW ranked 13th in the world in accounting and finance, 13th in law school, 16th in civil engineering, and 19th in architecture and urban planning.

5. The University of Sydney

The central campus, whose architecture is inspired by that of Oxbridge, stretches across the suburbs of Camperdown and Darlington, to the southwest of Sydney's CBD. Monash University is an Australian public university, with campuses in Australia, Malaysia and South Africa. It is the largest university in the country, with approximately 55,000 students.

The university has a total of seven campuses: five in Victoria, Australia (Clayton, Caulfield, Berwick, Peninsula, and Parkville), one in Malaysia, and one in South Africa. It also has a center in Prato, Italy.

The university received more than 50 million Australian dollars in medical research grants awarded by the National Health Research Council (NHMRC) Australian. It also dominates the awards given by this entity, winning a quarter of the total in 2007. The university is home from the Monash Science Technology Research and Innovation Precinct (STRIP), the Australian Center for Stem Cell Research, 100 research centers from different disciplines and 17 cooperative research centers.

7. The University of Adelaide
The University of Adelaide is an Australian public university with a university campus in the city of Adelaide, South Australia. It was founded in 1874, and it is the third oldest university in Australia. It has produced 5 Nobel Prizes, 101 Rhodes Prizes and is a member of the Group of Eight as well as Sandstone Universities.

Its campus is located on the North Terrace cultural boulevard in the city center, next to the Art Gallery of South Australia, the Museum of South Australia and the State Library of South Australia. The university also has four other campuses in the state: Roseworthy College in Roseworthy; the Waite Institute in Urrbrae; the University of Adelaide Research Park at Thebarton; and the National Wine Center in Adelaide Park Lands, and a campus in Singapore.
