Most painters and artists were born with the gift of drawing, but others were attracted by it. This has naturally spawned the debate about creativity and whether you are born with it or have been taught. Well, there are many different ways to look at it. The fact is that most people who get into artistic work are artistic, to begin with. They prefer to play at the
best bingo sites because they like the cultural aspect of such places.
Nevertheless, your art appreciation can very well be developed, and this is precisely the case. Creativity can be taught, but you still need to develop it even if you are born with it. So whether you have an aptitude for drawing, or you pick up the skill, you will constantly need to brush up on it, time and again, over and over.
#1 Train Creativity Everyday
If you want to stay creative, you have to treat it just like you would any other day. You need to exercise, practice and commit yourself every day. There are actually exercises you can find out there to improve your creativity.
Some may argue that creativity is about thinking outside the box, and they would be correct in their surmise. However, to get to the point where you have the basic skills, you would need to spend many hours training just like any rookie would.
Of course, this requires consistency and the correct mindset, and for a creative person, it's hard to get in this sort of routine that is counter-intuitive to what it means to be creative. Yet, if you stick with it, the rewards will be significant.
#2 Feel the Urge and Channel It
Sometimes creativity doesn't work out. You know you are creative enough to pursue a profession or hobby in art, video gaming or something else that takes imagination, but fail to muster up enough of your creativity to get things done.
This is both frustrating as it is dispiriting because it can easily demoralise you to the point where you are not even bothering to try any more. However, there is no need for you to give up just yet. Quite the opposite, you can channel your urge to be creative and learn consistency.
Sure, creativity is about being spontaneous, but sometimes this is not necessarily an option, and that is alright. Instead of losing sleep over it, you can embrace some routine and teach yourself the skills that will allow you to be more creative.
#3 Alternate Hard Work with Casual Art
Because artistic personalities don't do so well when they are told to repeat the same exercise repeatedly, it's good to have off-days in which you draw for yourself. There is no need to get obsessed with your creativity work-outs, but you must keep and stay consistent, or you will lose all the hard work you have put before.
