Man Spent £15.000 for a Botched Hair Transplant

Harold Bennett, 42, has spent £15.000 on a hair transplant or norwood scale treatment in London which left him with a big and very prominent scar at the end.

Harold was suffering from male pattern hair loss since he was 35, “At first, my hair loss did not bother me so much. However, as it progressed, it has become more disturbing. I noticed that I am losing my self-confidence along with my hair and I decided to take an action.”

The hair transplant clinic told Harold that his operation was going to be performed with 3000 grafts and by using FUE technique; however, instead of that, Harold was provided with a very unsuccessful FUT technique hair transplant operation which left him with a major scar. “I was not familiar with the techniques; I just told them in the consultation that I wanted my hair back and I did not want any scar after the operation.”

Harold says he had been searching for a solution to treat the prominent scar tissue left from his unsuccessful norwood scale operation, “I found out that the best way to cover up a hair transplant scar is again hair transplant; I did not want to spend money on another unsuccessful operation and searched a lot this time. Eventually I booked a FUE transplant treatment to cover the scar from a hair transplant clinic in Turkey. They were very attentive from the start to the end. I wish I did not have the first botched operation but I am glad I could fix it. Moreover, I only paid the one tenth of the money I paid for the botched results.”

Turkey hair transplant specialist of Monoplant Hair Clinic who performed Harold’s successful FUE transplant to cover the scar says “There are so many hair transplant options available; before booking for a treatment, patients should make a detailed research. FUE is the latest technique of hair transplant which is suitable for many hair loss conditions; FUT is not commonly performed today, unless the donor area is inadequate.”

Harold Bennett is very satisfied with his hair transplant Turkey experience.
