NEW YORK, NY.- With over 400 lots of paintings, sculpture, furniture, silver, jewelry, rugs, Asian works of art and lighting–some of which belonged to a prominent Connecticut collector–Lark Mason Associates is presenting an eclectic online auction of fine and decorative arts which is now open for bidding on igavelauctions.com now through July 7th.

“From a contemporary hand-blown glass vessel by Lino Tagliapietra (Estimate: $7,000-10,000) to Cambridge Valley, by Anna Mary Robertson ‘Grandma” Moses (Estimate: $80,000-120,000), or an 18th century Tibetan gilt bronze seated Bodhisattva (Estimate: $4,000-8,000), we are delighted to offer a wide swathe of fine and decorative works of art for collectors and design aficionados,” says Lark E. Mason, Jr.

Among the other highlights are Portrait of Lady Crewe, an oil on canvas, attributed to Joshua Reynolds (British 1723-1792), (Estimate: $15,000-25,000) with a provenance traced to Henry G. Marquand, New York, 1888, who gifted it to The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; Sotheby's, New York, 15 February 1973, lot 91 ($1,300, as 'Attributed to Sir Joshua Reynolds') Christie's, New York, June 6, 2012, lot 21, Old Master paintings; a Neoclassical carved marble bust of a Leader (Estimate: $5,000-6,000); a large Dong Son type 1 bronze drum, circa 500 BCE (Estimate: $40,000-60,000); a large 20th century sterling silver Buccellati Milano table service; (Estimate: $20,000-30,000); a two-section European walnut mantelpiece, by repute, from the private collection of Edsel Ford (Estimate: $10,000-$15,000); a George III mahogany upholstered armchair with ball and claw feet, circa 1760 (Estimate: $7,000-10,000); and a selection of Tiffany & Co. patinated gilt bronze and glass mixed pattern desk accessories (Estimate: $2,000-4,000).
