BERLIN, GERMANY.- A new documentary on Albert Speer, the architect and munitions minister of Adolf Hitler, presents him as a person that was fully aware of the Nazi crimes.
Heinrich Breloer, director of the film, said, "[He created] a market for people who said 'believe me, I didn't know anything about it. Just look at the Führer's friend, he didn't know about it either'."
All the time during his life he claimed he was unaware of these crimes of mass destruction of the Jews. Speer had a reputation in Germany of a Good Nazi that was at the side of Hitler to fulfill his architectural dreams.
